Orchid Suites Announcements to Affiliates

Dear NWF Affiliates:

The Orchid NWF Affiliate Program is entering its second year! Thank you to all who signed up. We look forward to working with more of you. The following are special announcements that we hope will inspire you to join us:

Price Changes - Starting October 1st, 2008, prices will increase for certain Orchid products. For more information, visit the products and services link at the NWF Affiliate Customer Care Center.

Lessons Learned in 2007-08

In our work with NWF affiliates so far, we learned a great deal from your feedback and are making efforts to improve our products and services. Here are two areas we are working on this year: (1) Advocacy – NWF has asked Orchid to suggest a way for affiliates to access a database of your current elected officials to be used in action alerts. Please stay tuned for more information. (2) Membership – Affiliate membership management is vital, and each affiliate handles membership uniquely. Orchid offers an affordable and powerful software package with membership capabilities. Currently, no software on the market is designed to offer comprehensive membership management, fundraising, tracking, communication, web interface and content distribution in one system. However, Orchid is working with a partner to create an offer we believe will make a difference to NWF affiliates in this area. Stay tuned!

Use Orchid Suites to its full potential!

(1) Design - NWF has five FREE templates available to create your website. Or, feel free to use your own design at an additional cost. (2) Content - The suite is a content sharing "system” allowing users to share content. For example, if you create a press release using Orchid templates you may chose to automatically make it available to all other NWF affiliate Orchid users to post -- if they want -- on their site. (3) Training and Support - Orchid provides regular training and webinars. Sign up at http://mlist.orchidsuites.net/lists/lt.php?id=KkoBBABUUwdWTVMNCFUYBwYGBVZV under CALENDAR and then training.

Welcome new subscribers! The latest sign up is the Wyoming Wildlife Federation, http://www.wyomingwildlife.org/. They did their own design. Washington Wildlife Federation, http://www.washingtonwildlife.org/, utilized one of the templates provided by NWF.
