Jim Henson Foundation
The Jim Henson
Foundation awards grants for the creation and
development of innovative works of puppet
theater. Project grants of $5,000 are awarded
for the continued development and production of
new works ready to be presented in the coming
year. Seed grants of $2,000 are provided for
the development and workshopping of pieces in
the earlier stages of creation. The Foundation

National Wildlife Federation is one of the partners for Nickelodeon's social campaign, "The Big Green Help." Through this partnership, affiliates have an opportunity to apply for grant money. The program is a unique funding initiative that teams up kids and adults to help bring resources to their community.
Between April 1, 2009-December 31 2009, eligible organizations can apply for a $2,500 one-time grant to fund an environmentally friendly project. There is also an opportunity to apply for a dollar-to-dollar match, the organization can request a $5,000 grant for a major environmental project.
